Reiki Training

Equilibrium-ni School of Reiki & Personal Development was established by Life Coach and Usui Reiki Master Teacher – Ingrid Darragh.

We run various Usui Reiki Training courses in N Ireland, UK – from Beginners Level 1, Level 2, Master Level (Level 3) and Reiki Teacher Training.

Once you have completed your training, you can apply to the UK Reiki Federation for membership. Ingrid can advise further on that during the training.

We also offer an on-line Reiki Level 1 course – Reiki for Personal Wellbeing and Self Care, with everything you need to get started with doing Reiki treatments on yourself, from the comfort of your own home

What is Reiki

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key), comes from the words “rei”, meaning universal and “ki”, the Japanese for qi, the life force that is inherent in everything. When this life force is flowing freely, we are healthy and happy, when it is low we are far more susceptible to both physical illness and emotional stress.

In Reiki Therapy, this universal energy is activated by the practitioner and passed on to the recipient where it replenishes areas that have been depleted of energy.

During a session, the energy enters through the practitioner and flows out through the hands into the client to help to heal and balance spirit, mind and body. This hands on complementary therapy energy treatment can assist with lowering stress and increasing overall health and wellbeing.

Ingrid has experience working with clients from all walks of life since 2007 – in particular, people going through stressful circumstances such as: divorce, infertility, bereavement and serious illness, including cancer patients and their carers.

At the First Degree level you gain basic instruction and will be attuned to the healing rays so that you can start to explore working with Reiki and do self-treatments on yourself.

At the Second Degree you will be attuned to the sacred Reiki symbols which will allow you to work on a broader scale. You will learn about emotional healing and also how to send healing to others (distant healing) and how to do treatments on others.

The Masters course is quite demanding but is necessary if you want to go on to a higher level still and this can assist you with personal transformation. You will learn the Master Level symbol and how to make a crystal healing grid. Includes all training manuals and certificates .

Please AVOID alcohol, caffeine and red meat 48 hours prior to each Reiki Training course date, to assist with the attunement process.

Cancellation Policy –

Please note that all bookings are final, non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Where possible, if 72 hours notice is given, we will aim to change your booking to another date, if it is possible to do so.

In the event of any Covid type of situation / lockdown / restrictions on travel etc, we will do the theory training by Zoom video call and then do the in person attunement once the restrictions are lifted.

Reiki Teacher Level Training with Ingrid Darragh (for existing Reiki Masters)

  • You will receive ALL Reiki Training manuals and certificates electronically, that you can update with your own contact details and use when you start teaching (there is also an option to sit in and observe Reiki classes that I am teaching, if you wish, to help to boost your confidence levels before you start teaching)
